Established in 2001, with the management buyout of Dorbyl’s metal trading divisions, the Stalcor’s success is built on the acquisition of Baldwins Steel and Stalcor. These two long established market leaders jointly offer a range of metal products and distribution channels.

AFSA (The Aluminium Federation of South Africa) is one of the more active aluminium industry associations in the world and has, since 1981, been involved in increasing the awareness and use of aluminium in Southern Africa.

The Southern Africa Stainless Steel DevelopmentAssociation (Sassda), is one of the most active stainless steel industry associations in the world and has, since 1964, been involved in increasing the awareness and use of stainless steel in Southern Africa.
The mission of the SAISC is to promote the holistic vigour and prosperity of the people and companies in South Africa that provide steel-related products or services to the building and construction industry.
